My new favorite t-shirt
Some of the most amazing images I’ve seen in a long time. My favorite is the Taipei police pulling over a speeding ostrich that escaped from the petting zoo. Go emu!
On this blog you’ll be learning with me how to use our voices, share our creative superpowers and live life in full color.
As an artist, photographer, life coach + mentor, I’m redefining what it means to be a SUPERHERO — ‘cause in my world, it’s got nothing to do with capes, spandex or sidekicks and everything to do with tenderness, intuition & baby steps of bravery.

I’m trying to envision how a full shot would look and just can’t place this shot within any stove I know 🙂
Looooooooove POD, whoever culls and edits those wire photos is a genius and always has the best captions, too.
I love the kangaroo picture and how birth can be kept secret.
i adore the stove. the writing looks handpainted!
I love that T-shirt!
Great photographs. Beautiful colors.
Great photo, great T-shirt and I loved the “Love Bugs” photo!!!
That shirt is excellent.
A few years ago a colleague of mine was doing a bird survey in California and ran into an emu. The emu tugged at his sleeve from behind as he searched for another bird through his binoculars. Given that emus are native to Australia it’s quite strange to find one wandering along a California stream. It must be stranger still to have a 6 ft. bird tugging at you when you are not looking. By standard practice we record all our bird encounters with 4 letter codes, but to this day we have yet to figure out what’s the 4-letter code for EMU!
By the way, ostriches and emus are two different species…though I think that “go emu” sounds way better than “go ostrich.”

I loved the Ronald McDonald being taken away by the police officers in New Zealand or Australia (one of those two places) Great site link!!
Gotta get the shirt!!! Also great shot of your old stove….was it a vintage stove circa the 1950’s?? I wondered, because my grandma’s stove that I remember from when I was just a small child, had knobs that looked like that. Great post! 🙂
Andrea please persuade Alex that she can ask the universe for a Digital Rebel!
I dreamt I came to visit you in SF…long detailed dream with conversations, a meal at a small table with a blue tablecloth, your husband shouting out the window, and you proudly showing us your new washer and dryer, but the only place you had for it in your apartment was in front of a mural you had painted on the wall…you were disappointed about that, but beaming about your new appliances also…..dreams are so strange, yes?
