“If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it; blame yourself, tell yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches.”

Hi, I’m Andrea

On this blog you’ll be learning with me how to use our voices, share our creative superpowers and live life in full color.

As an artist, photographer, life coach + mentor, I’m redefining what it means to be a SUPERHERO — ‘cause in my world, it’s got nothing to do with capes, spandex or sidekicks and everything to do with tenderness, intuition & baby steps of bravery.

    how true that is!
life is as rich as you make it, life is as full of fun and laughter as you make it. if you surround yourself with misery, you will be miserable, if you surround yourself with joy, you will be joyful.
if you think your life is bad, that it could be no worse, think of what you have. most of us have so much. we take it all for granted. even something like electricty. if you think you have nothing, think of who you reach out to when you are in need. that person alone makes your life rich.

So True!! I’m sure that we could all find the good in our lives if only we stopped complaining long enough. We all have many gifts, and finding and using them is the key. I also love this photo. Your graffiti in SF is so intense and colorful. Even if it is defacing property…..Great post! 🙂

i just love this quote. I am placing it on the top of my computer to remind myself to be greatful for everything i have. i completly believe every situation is exactly what we want to make it. this will be a great reminder of that.

    Wow.
Is there any emptiness that a little Rilke could not pour some wisdom into?
Any problem not helped by diving into his words?
    Haven’t found one yet.
Thanks for the reminder rich girl.
    I’m off to call forth…

The quote is powerful. But my first thought seeing this post was…oh, look…Shotwell Street…and remembering an artist I dated once who lived there… 🙂

Avoiding the urge to point the finger at anyone but ourselves – a well taught life lesson. Great pic too.
