one, one, one

what I do when I arrive in other people’s bathrooms, Canon Digital Rebel

Keep your crush stories coming! We are thoroughly enjoying them…Final date for entries is February 8th.

“I never look at the masses of my responsibility; I look at the individual. I can only love one person at a time-just one, one, one. So you begin. I began-I picked up one person. Maybe if I didn’t pick up that one person, I wouldn’t have picked up forty-two thousand…The same thing goes for you, the same thing in your family, the same thing in your church, your community. Just begin-one, one, one.”
– Mother Teresa

Hi, I’m Andrea

On this blog you’ll be learning with me how to use our voices, share our creative superpowers and live life in full color.

As an artist, photographer, life coach + mentor, I’m redefining what it means to be a SUPERHERO — ‘cause in my world, it’s got nothing to do with capes, spandex or sidekicks and everything to do with tenderness, intuition & baby steps of bravery.

    Beautiful quote – ispiring thought.
I also take pictures of peoples bathrooms; okay, I’ve only done it once – but still.

  2. andrea

I am so moved by that quote. I want to paint it on the side of buildings everywhere.

  3. ali

Man you have the best quotes Andrea – that one is fantastic :).

  4. JC

What is the best bathroom you have been in?

  5. stef

    the quote is amazing!

  6. Milly

Mother Teresa was a great woman, very inspiring. Her words and work live on. Thanks for posting that quote.

  7. Marilyn

I LOVE this photo…not sure why this one jumps out at me so much vs. some of the other bathroom shots you’ve posted…but I love it. Great quote, too.

  8. Julia

I think it’s delightful that you take photos of other people bathrooms. Has anyone ever been offended that you did that? I just wondered? Also…such lovely, beautiful, & profound words from Mother Teresa. Thanks for posting such an inspiring quote. 🙂

  9. Leonie

I LOVE this photo Andrea ~ a bathroom indeed shows the underbelly of a house 🙂
You look wonderful in the mirror!

  10. jenn

the bathroom shots would make a great exhibit somewhere. i love this shot.
what a wonderful quote, thanks for sharing.

  11. Laura

I’ve done this too. There’s something so private and intimate and personal about a bathroom. It’s an escape, in more than one way. It’s the only place in your house, or in anybody’s, that you can truly be alone. (Unless, of course, you have cats that simply are frantic to be in the bathroom with you, like I do.)

  12. Sarah

Andrea, you have the most beautifully shaped face…reminds me of modigliani…elegant..
