As an artist, photographer, life coach + mentor, I’m redefining what it means to be a SUPERHERO — ‘cause in my world, it’s got nothing to do with capes, spandex or sidekicks and everything to do with tenderness, intuition & baby steps of bravery.

When my son Ben was about 4 years old, he took his very first swim lessons at the local YMCA. I didn’t realize until we arrived that I wouldn’t be inside the pool with him, so I watched from the window just outside. (Albeit a little nervous since he didn’t know how to...
Happy holidays everyone! I woke up yesterday morning a bit tender... it always feels that way on Christmas morning without my boys. But especially this year with the pandemic (that made any other plans impossible) and the fact that I'm going through a breakup as well....

Hello Andrea, got your link from a friend of yours (Angela) who said your site would be a good one for me to check out. She was right. 🙂 I am in the process of getting into life coaching, and am gathering info at present. I read your post below about anger and infertility. Very moving. I’ve done a lot of personal work, and concur that thereis power in anger, and I understand your fear about it just plopping out. Once had a therapist tell me to hang on to my anger (about a particular time) because I was going to need it to get through the situation. He was right and it was the first time I remember feeling that anger could be an ally. Blessings to you and your husband on your fertility journey. There are gifts in everything.
Thanks for putting yourself out there. And here’s a quote for you:
“I never work better than when I’m inspired by anger: I can write, pray, and preach well. My whole temperament is quickened, my understanding sharpened, and all mundane vexations and temptations depart.”
