Certain ideas just light your mind on fire… PARK(ing) Day is one of those ideas.
– This video (the guy who walked across China for a year and shot a time lapse video of his hair growing) did it for me today.
– And then there is Indra’s Cloud, a raft made of water bottles that has me totally enchanted.
– This video of a project that Whitney Ferre did in her community. She has my mind buzzing with so many ideas now… Thank you Whitney!
– And I loved this article I read on Chris Guillebeau’s site: Moving to Paris without quitting my day job: A Lesson in becoming a Nonconformist
And the winner of the Parking Day t-shirt is Emma who said, “Love it! The shirts are great, the concept and message — Amazing!”
For those of you who didn’t win, we love you! and you can still order your very own Parking Day shirt. Just click here. (Keep in mind these are limited edition and will sell out soon!)
Oh, my goodness…the video of dude. I loved that. I must get to Oregon. That rock in the middle of the water is calling to me for sure.

I loved the Chris Guillebeau story. Thanks.
I am so excited about Mondo Beyondo in October. I feel like so many things are happening at the moment to get me ready for it.
Another lovely picture – thank you, as always!!
The Whitney Ferre project is so inspiring!!! Thanks for sharing it here. xoxo, ~ M.
Thank you for posting the clip about Whitney’s project! I met her several years ago in Nashville and was HUGELY inspired by her place, The Creative Fitness Center. I was tickled to see this~ what a cool project… and I loved it when she held up her hand to gesture and they just happened to be covered in paint. 🙂

Thanks for the link to Indra’s cloud. What an amazing project. I spent a month in India nearly ten years ago and witnessed this plastic bottle infestation. There were growing efforts to change tourists behaviors at the time, but nothing as in your face as this. super cool.
Nice content indeed! i will visit as often as i can.
cheers
