Love the photo, red shoes and Amy’s new blog. Thanks for always sharing such great stuff here.
hey jen and andrea. i just wanted to check in. i did the october mondo beyondo class and my list contained lots of things about simplifying my life, working part time, having more time for me, not doing too much…. well. be careful what you wish for. I fell on the ice on the 3rd jan, i have 12 screws and 2 metal plates in my ankle. I’ve been in hospital for 10 days and will be off work for at least another 2 months. i’ve shed some tears and wouldn’t wish for the pain again but its kindo of weird but i do feel this might have happened for a reason. my work are coping without me, my partner and stepchildren are coping without me and the world is carrying on. Me, i;m making a reading list of books i’d never have time to read, finishing knitting projects and spending time thinking about my priorities for time, life and money. I’m not sure i’d have been so philosophical without the class. so a thank you for that … just tell the jan class to be careful what they wish for : )…
lolipop shoes….love them
thanks for sharing the great stuff you have all the time ! I really enjoy visiting your blog! Makes me happy, makes my smile!
ohhhh…thanks for sharing this, so fun!
Love the Shoes. Thanks for being such an inspiration.
eeek. i just read the comment by betsy and i laughed a little as i am in the january mondo class. but i do not want to be careful what i wish for…and i know it will comes as it is meant to.
i could not comment on the last post for some reason so i think i will put it here…this is my mondo dream…
buy a vanagon and pack it in a way that allows us to leave with our boys for a few months at a time. first, head north to canada to see and show them all the beauty it holds. come home, pack again and score the volunteer PT position in Bhutan and bring the family with me for three months. come home, work a bit then pack again and…etc etc. this is my true definition of living like the gypsy. coming to home base, leaving home base, my particular brand of freedom.
mamie, thanks for the comment and that is a great dream, but there will be more that pop through. i loved the class and it really has helped me see my current experience as a little reminder from the universe that i am not indispensible (to be honest i was setting back too on making too many plans / taking on extra work etc). have a great time on the class, you will get so much from it and meet lots of amazing people who will support you. It is a great experience…. you’re right. Don’t edit your dreams but they might come true in ways you didn’t expect…! : )
Big hugs to you and Ben and all the people in Haiti…….
