Feeling HUGE these days and officially to that stage where the seas part when I walk into a room. People immediately offer me a chair, a glass of water, or request that I don’t “pop” while in their establishment.
For my last hurrah! and probably the last bit of energy I have in me for the year, I am honored to be going to Maggie Mason’s Mighty Summit this weekend! To celebrate the occasion I began writing my “Life List” which is a work in progress but I wanted to share it here.

Wow, kick ass list!!! I hear that just writing it all down does wonders for getting it accomplished!!!
you’re a healing force in my world already 😉
I found you via Chrissy. Love your blog! Looking at your picture reminds me of how much I loved seeing my belly button through me clothes when I had reached the huge point with my pregnancies. You look awesome! And the list….love it! I would love to own a bungalow in La Jolla beach.
i can help with number 3!
and number 15 (if an alum is acceptable)!
You are so beautiful. love.
You look absolutely lovely.
Be on This American Life is on my list too!
I have submitted a number of ideas since Mondo. I follow them on facebook and whenever they put a call out for ideas, I send my stories.
Enjoy the summit!!
I was -just- reading about life lists in Chris Guillebeau’s new book, came to visit your blog, and now I’m doubly inspired!
I agree that you are already a healing force in the world.
You can cross #39 off your list as complete. Commenters, can I get a witness?
Mama, everything you do has #39 written all over it. Love this list, and love that you and your boys are bringing another amazing boy into this world!
when you live in Spain for 3 months, i want to meet up with you! i don’t live there but i did for many years (in bilbao and barcelona) and my husband is from the basque country in the north. you would love all of it!
what an amazing list, andrea. a beautiful and inspiring work in progress… and you’ve already got a headstart on quite a few 😉
Great list! And perhaps #39 could be “Continue to be a healing force in the world.” You look lovely.
I *think,* rather personally, that you need to take some credit for this life list phenomenon. And um, somehow I don’t think you’re just starting your life list just now.
Because you when you see my Mighty Summit list, it’s going to have an absurd amount of stuff at the top crossed off of the top of it. Why? Wellllll, in 2004, this blogger I read introduced Mondo Beyondo lists, and….. By which I mean to say, I created a Life List by just taking out my running Mondo Beyondo list and adding more stuff.
Not that Maggie hasn’t been hugely inspiring to me (because lord knows she has), but I’m just sayin.’
Agreed, you may claim #39 as accomplished! And it makes me feel less humble in your glowing presence to say that I already claim #28- my karaoke skills have improved dramatically since Rock Band was invented 😉 I so look forward to reading about this year’s summit and I’m all over my LifeList tonight.
That room looks amazing and so do you – awesome list!
You are beautiful, as always.
I see a lot of things on here that I would put on my list .. Santa Fe, dolphins, Iceland, tomato festival (the fun of photographing that one!), aurora borealis (once I saw the elusive green color on my birthday – that was magical – still haven’t photographed though) ..
And I do agree that you can cross #39 off.
We have so many of the SAME. Fun. Panna Cotta is relatively easy. Try it! And the first commenter was right. #39 is covered. Xo.
Oh, and the big belly. Yippee! Wow. Time sure flies. I remember sighing over “The Cute Baby” when Ben was born. Blessings.
My goodness, you’re glowing and gorgeous! How happy-teary it is to remember your postings from years past and see this photo today.
Here’s my list. Thanks, Mondo Beyondo Dream Lab! 🙂

You look so beautiful! Love this idea, I am off to create my own!
I wanted to let you know I left you a private message in your mailbox over at facebook about the possibility of teaching at Omega. Wishing you well always!
What a cute picture! You look great! I laughed out loud when I read that people request that you don’t pop in their establishment. Hee. Folks do give you that look, don’t they? Like you’re a bomb, ready to go off. Too funny.
yes cross no 39 off now !
Gwyneth Paltrow? I’d be curious to know why…
Great, tear-inspiring list! I’m so glad this weekend is going to work out for you! Enjoy yourself.
xxoo
its really easy to fall
in love you with you andrea.
xxx
I really love your list. And you look beautiful! I really loved some of those on your list and they are ones that I am striving for as well. Particularly to feel sexy again. Funny how that tends to run away from us moms doesn’t it! Here’s to getting sexy back! Best of luck with your new one coming soon.
I’m going to Hollyhock today! I’m up early with excitement and just reading your post about wanting to go there. It was on my list too. I’ll try to put up some blog pictures while I’m there, or by the end of the week when I’m back at the latest. Love your blog Andrea!
oh! I had the pleasure of doing a photography retreat at Hollyhock last summer. their garden is stunning and food is spectacular – you will love it! you look fabulous, by the way. 🙂
oh my…I bet this was a fabulous weeken!
As always, thanks for the honesty and inspiration!
Here’s my list: http://www.underaredroof.com/?p=2464
I would say you’re well on your way to #39. I always feel that when I visit your space. Also, glad to see the quest for perfect boots is universal.

Very nice site!
Hello!
Hello!
I always enjoy seeing other people’s lists. I love the creative, original things that make us all unique individuals:
meet drew barrymore, share a story on This American Life, see the bioluminescence and rock it at karaoke.
I also love finding things that we share on our lists, those things that connect us. Last year I had hot air balloon flight and after a year of scheduled attempted flights (the conditions have to be PERFECT) I finally had my flight yesterday. http://www.robayre.com/news/2010/10/10/hot-air-balloon-ride-2010/
Also, this year I had to buy tall boots.
And while, I have am a work in progress and have “be comfortable in my own skin” listed on my overall life list, I enjoyed your “feel sexy again” and “love my body”.
Thank you for sharing your list!
Strange this post is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it was listed on the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first page of a non related search. 🙂
Hey, I just hopped over to your site via StumbleUpon. Not somthing I would normally read, but I liked your thoughts none the less. Thanks for making something worth reading.
That was stimulating . I admire your finesse that you put into your work. Please do continue with more like this.
@Markus I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?
