Thank you! to all of you who submit a love story this week. They brought an extra zing to my days and reminded me that love is indeed everywhere. It hides in the most unexpected places and moments.
Your celebrity judges (Matt Passmore, Kim Indresano, Keri Smith, Danny Gregory, Jeff Pitcher and Jen Gray) are working hard on reviewing all of the amazing stories that came in.
*One of the best stories I’ve ever read about love is at Dooce today.
Looks like votives? Do you remember the church, by any chance?
Mademoiselle a,
In the labyrinth of streets in Venice, I would only be able to show you. It was a tiny place and a blind man seated on a chair outside watched over it.
There was a little cubby in the side of the building that said “Pane per i poveri” and a place to put your lire.
it was a jewel of a place.
Oh how mysterious! Maybe I will be able to retrieve the place when I go to Venice some day soon…this sure dates back to a “wonder” and the people who put votives there to say thank and praise.
I love this photo! The hearts remind me of antique lockets or ancient family crests. There is something so medeval and mysterious looking about them. They are wonderful, and the church in Venice where you photographed them sounds like a beautiful, spiritual place. Thank you for sharing.
