Christine from Swirly has a fun project going on over at Flickr. Each month she’ll ask people to take photos of pink things {every month a different theme} and give away a prize for her favorite image. This month is pink bicycles.
Another truly wonderful thing you should know about are the handmade wish containers over at Papeterie Delice. (I have one and treasure it.) The sketchbooks are also quite delicious and everything is wonderfully affordable. I’m going to have to get tell her to raise her prices!
I just bought one of the wish books as a gift. Thanks for the link!
Ohhhh…thanks for the link. I love those wish containers…I think I need to buy some and give them as gifts (and keep one for myself of course). And look at those awsome mini-books. Wow!
Andrea, your dahlia photos have been stunning, and this one is particularly beautiful. We had them growing at the back of our house in Spain when I was a little girl, along with Cala Lilies, and they’re not flowers you typically see here, so your photos add a touch of wonderful nostalgia to my day.
Love the wish container, too … what a great idea!
What fun! I love photo projects…
Gorgeous photo and great link BUT–she/they should raise her prices– definitely.
Two great tips – I already want one of the sketchbooks, they’re lovely! Pretty dahlias too – I never really knew about them before so now whenever I recognise one I think of you. Cheesy perhaps but true 🙂
Your floral photos are always just GORGEOUS!
Oh goodness, how lovely! Don’t get her to raise her prices *just* yet!! But of course she should. She’s selling herself short… but allowing those of us who are pinching pennys a bit of beuty today. Off to order…
andrea,
another lovely flower photo… i love this pink flower, it’s so pretty.
thank you for the link to Papeterie Delice. I love her creations. So beautiful.
thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the great links, to spruce up my day! The handmade wish containers would be a great hand-out on New Years Eve…
Thank you Andrea, and that photo is DIVINE!!
Oh man!! Pink bicycles!! Yea!! I’ve got a good one somewhere on my computer at work from Bike to Work Day…the girl and the bike in the photo were sooo coooool….
love these!
Do you do much photoshop work with your pictures, or are they usually straight from camera to computer? I really like the effects you get. 🙂
What an AMAZING photo! Also, Swirly’s blog is one of my very favorites-I hope more people will discover her site today!
I’m amazed and blown away at all of your generous support of my bookbindery work! It’s one thing when your (slightly biased) friends and family admire your work, and entirely another when it’s people I haven’t met yet. Thanks!
