Still on the subject of color heals all… a most delightful anatomy of a superhero necklace by Linda Davick. Isn’t she amazing?
And I will be sending out a newsletter soon about holiday superhero shopping, but keep in mind that this superhero is going on maternity leave by the end of November. This means order your holiday treats early this year!
That is the loveliest thing ever!
I gotta get me one!
Darkly
i will get myself one someday! what a beautiful way to look at the beads. it made me realize how special your necklaces are reading her entry on how she took them to bed with her. just amazing, andrea. 🙂
I think it would be awesome to have one of your beautiful necklaces, but I don’t think I can justify spending that much money on myself. I’m not much of a jewelry wearer, even if the jewelry gives me incredible superhero powers!
I’m curious about making my own jewelry, though. Where do you get your beads? Who taught you how to make it, or did you mostly teach yourself?
Thanks,
Ashley
My mom loved her Joy necklace!

this just makes my day! love it all these gorgeous colors and these delightful descriptions!
that is delicious and edible.
🙂
Having met a certain member of my family, it may come as no surprise that family lore has it that my maternal grandfather once invented a color healing machine (which he later donated to the Edgar Cayce Institute). 🙂 I’ve been thinking about you…hope you’re fabulously enjoying your pregnancy!
I love this!
comment for Ashley: I’m not much of a jewelry wearer either. And I rarely spend that much money on myself. (I wear one daily contact lens at a time, use 1/2 a paper towel instead of a whole one, my husband and I share a cell phone, ride the bus) but I knew when I saw it that I had to splurge on this necklace. It has brought me much happiness & luck; I don’t regret it at all. You won’t either! Buy one! (But make sure to buy JOY).
Andrea,
I love this! So fun. It makes me appreciate my (TWO) Superhero necklaces all the more – the associations with each delicious bead…Thinking of you and baby and glad you are doing well in this home stretch. Just two more months of “waddling.” So exciting!
Love,

I wore an Angel Superhero necklace and bracelet on my wedding day and both pieces continue to bring me joy – every time I wear them or even look at them. 🙂 I think I’ll be getting another set for when “Zocon” is here. It just seems right. Hugs to you and Baby!
I love this! My Superhero necklace is green and blue, but it brings me calm and cool. They really do have powers! 🙂
andrea,
I love this. I’ve been thinking about you all day. I am in connie’s sister’ wedding on saturday. my dress is a burnt orange color and I am wearing my “faith” necklace you sent me. I can’t wait to wear it, for it reminds me of faith in so many ways and on so many levels. I think it will make me feel like a superhero all day for sure.
I can’t wait!

I keep forgetting to tell you (speaking of color that heals) my purple, green and yellow YES on the back of my office door gives me a little spiritual healing each time I see it. 🙂
