I love the cutey-pie pictures of Ben…it brings back memories when my boys were so darn cute and little and free and silly. Of course now they are handsome, big, free and do silly things sometimes!

I just showed my daughter, we are long time Ben Fans, the photo of him dancing, squeals and peels of delight filled the room. She thinks he is a very special boy. We call him the Cute Baby here in our house. It was that very first photo we saw of him, the first one you published, we were smitten and remain so…
i am not sure if i ever told you this but i ‘met’ ben right after he was born. maggie mason posted a blog about his birth, i clicked over and i fell in love. i was pregnant with my twins and laid up on bed rest, terrified and lonely and hoping for all the best. i followed every post after that, read about him and dreamed about mine. and it pulled me through a time when the only blogs i knew were about other knitters that were not new mamas. you were my introduction.
when those first months bewildered you, i read. when i felt the same, i was not so scared. when it got better for you, i knew it would for me too. something about you as mama and ben as himself has always pulled me here. i have missed him lately. thank you for sharing him again.
please say you are going to blogher next year in nyc. because i think i am and i really would love to hug you and him through you.
