Happy Johnwarming!

Cake made by Elizabeth, Nikon Coolpix 4500

We celebrated John’s housewarming by having a delicious barbecue, an even more delicious cake, and watching the movie Office Space on the roof deck of their building.

Every once in a while I would forget where I was and look up to see the San Francisco skyline. It was magical.

when I opened up your journal I said out loud, “OOOOOhhh, what is that” CAKE YUMMY! looks like a bbq cake, with ketchup n’ all! hee hee. There’s nothing like watching a movie outside with the real stars above you, thats a slice of summer for sure. tis smack dab the middle of July and summer is in full swing, magical swing!

It IS sort of an “ofice space” cake…with the paper clip adornment and all. (Very creative on your friend Elizabeth’s part!)

What a cool way to celebrate a Summer evening, and your friend’s housewarming. Living in the suburbs of L.A. as I do, I miss things like roof decks in apt. buildings, and city skylines. Thanks for reminding me of the special beauty of big city life.

Yeah, I thought it was a real Hamburger Cake!
The San Francisco skyline sounds beautiful…I like looking at skylines, but only see it when approaching Honolulu or from certain areas of the island. Just at dusk is most beautiful.
