I’m off for several days to DC… have a fabulous weekend everybody!

and if you are in Seattle tomorrow evening, April 16th, check out the art opening at my parent’s gallery, Medici Gallery in Pioneer Square. They have a gorgeous exhibition featuring contemporary italian painters. There will be art, wine and good peeps. Wish I could be there!

Hi, I’m Andrea

On this blog you’ll be learning with me how to use our voices, share our creative superpowers and live life in full color.

As an artist, photographer, life coach + mentor, I’m redefining what it means to be a SUPERHERO — ‘cause in my world, it’s got nothing to do with capes, spandex or sidekicks and everything to do with tenderness, intuition & baby steps of bravery.

You’ve probably got a completely full dance card while you’re in the DC area, but I wanted to pass on a few fun and delicious local recommendations: Beadazzled, Little Fountain Cafe, Raku, Tryst, Kramerbooks, Politics & Prose, Teaism, Firehook, Cakelove, Sonoma, Le Bon Cafe, and the National Building Museum (if Ben’s traveling with you they have a great playroom for kids). And I’m anxious to see the Robert Frank exhibit at the National Gallery of Art, but haven’t yet.

DC is magic this time of year, all blossoms and blue sky. Or rain.
    My personal apologies for that.
Hope you found some nice puddles to splash in. 🙂

Very cool — sounds like a wonderful event!! Do your parents still have a gallery in Carmel (I saw that mentioned in the “About Us” section)?
    Enjoy DC! xoxo, ~ M.
