Nutcracker Ben*

This was the adorable Ben at Fairyland yesterday while the Oakland ballet did a mini Nutcracker performance. It was his first time seeing ballet and I think he’s a natural.

Oh the sweetness of it. I love how he really never takes his eyes off her. Even when he twirls his eyes are on her as soon as physically possible.

    Yes! So cute!
The world cannot have too many Boys Who Dance. My boys saw the Nutcracker many times when they were little. Perhaps that is one reason that they are still uninhibited dancers as teenagers.

    Have a fantastic Holiday!

oh my goodness my heart is swooning! he is simply delightful. there is so much that i can learn from watching him. he is right there in the moment feeling. he doesn’t care what others are thinking or saying, he is listening to the sound of his own voice and doing what he feels in his heart. love, love, love this. just what i needed to see today. xoxo

It makes so much sense, given his love of music! Will he take classes?

Oh now that is contagious joy! My four-year-old (who just saw the ballet herself last week), asked to watch it three times. She said, “I love that the boy is dancing, too!”
