Arg, that’s exactly how I feel about my younger child (age 17 months). She has me wrapped around her little finger.

Wow, that reminded me of the night we brought our daughter home from the hospital. I was laying in bed with her that night, she was so small, this tiny creature that was breastfeeding in the crook of my arm. I said that to her. “Anything you want, I will give it to you. Even if it means I have to break myself in two, I will do it.” It was such a powerful experience. She’s 14.5 months now and she still hits me like that. The first real kiss she gave me, “oh anything, anything, darling mine.”
